Sweetwater Scenery was founded by my father, Ross Aune, in the early 1980s. Being a discriminating modeler, he was frustrated by what was available for his scenery needs. He felt the products lacked the detail, scale, and realism he desired. Through his years of modeling, he developed his own products and methods that addressed these issues. Ross believed in providing in-scale, highly detailed, and easy-to-use products. We continue to uphold these beliefs at Sweetwater Scenery and are proud to carry on the family business.
Our scale model scenery is utilized in a variety of ways, including model railroads, Christmas and Holiday scenes, dioramas, architectural layouts, and movie sets. Our best selling products, the Deciduous Armatures, are a natural sagebrush product that have incredible detail. They can include 2 to 3 times as many branches and limbs than other structures on the market. No metal or wire bending with our trees. While Sweetwater Scenery is best known for its Deciduous Armatures and Field Grass, we offer a wide variety of other realistic products. The newest additions to our product line-up are the Sweetwater Debris and Sweetwater Deadfall. We have also added the 5 Pack Deciduous Armatures to provide you a more economical way to purchase our number one quality nailed structures.
