Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long does it take to receive an order?
At this time, Sweetwater Scenery will ship your order within 24-72 hours. Actual transit time will vary depending on your geographic location. USPS Priority Mail and FedEx Ground are currently our shipping sources (please see our Shipping Information for details). Our Redi-Made trees will take longer as they are special order items.
2. Where can I purchase your products?
Sweetwater Scenery's products can be found at many fine hobby stores throughout the country or purchased directly from us. You can order over our internet site or by calling our toll free order number, or by sending a check through the regular mail.
3. What forms of payment does Sweetwater Scenery accept?
We accept Mastercard and Visa. We also accept pre-payment with a cashier's check, money order, or personal check.
4. What is the difference between your Deciduous Armatures and your Grove Tree Packs?
The Deciduous Armatures are our number one quality tree building structures. They are highly detailed and more symmetrical. They are more carefully shaped and finished with a nail in the base of the tree. The Grove Tree Packs are our second quality value pack. As their name suggests, they look better in a group. Grovers are not nailed.
5. Why do you offer a Light Tree Branch Fiber, as well as a Dark Tree Branch Fiber?
We have found that Sweetwater's Dark Tree Branch Fiber works better with the darker foliage trees. We recommend Sweetwater's Light Tree Branch Fibers for late fall trees (yellow) and lighter color trees. Both products add an easy to work with base and generate additional volume on the top of the tree.
6. Why does Sweetwater Scenery offer black Poly-Fiber?
When Sweetwater's Poly-Fiber is suspended spider web thin over our tree structures, the dark fiber is virutally invisible. The black color of our Poly-Fiber adds depth and disappears under the foilage without having to use an excessive amount of ground foam. Other colors of Poly-Fiber (ie. green) are highly visible and less realistic.
